SNP GAIN from Lib Dems in key Aberdeen by-election

What a stunning victory. The defending Lib Dems plummeted to 3rd place on 1st preferences, only just ahead of the Tories:
'SNP's Neil MacGregor secures Aberdeen by-election win'

... Mr MacGregor secured 2,090 first preference votes, ahead of Labour's Graeme Lawrence with 941.

... The front two in the polls were were followed by Lib Dem Kristian Chapman with 446, Ross Thomson (Scottish Conservative) with 352, Independent Angela Joss with 150, and Green Rhonda Reekie with 88.

SNP 51.5% (+15.3)
Lab 23.1% (+1.8)
LD 11.0% (-15.2)
Con 8.7% (+0.4)
Ind 3.7% (+1.3)
Grn 2.2% (+0.2)
